It’s Not Wood, But It’s Still Good

Our dear friend, Martin Puryear, is at it again! This time he is installing a permanent piece at one of New York State’s wonderful sculpture parks: Storm King. This one won’t be made of our beloved glulam, but we are still excited to see his new work.

As reported by the New York Times, this brick structure calls back to Nubian structures and his African heritage. Martin has been a great inspiration to us at Unalam and we can’t wait to view this new piece in its permanent home.
