Project Manager
Job Title: Project Manager
Department: Sales and Estimating
Reports to: Vice President of Sales & Marketing and CEO
Function: Manages all aspects of project workflow, including drawings and revisions, manufacturing scheduling, customer communication, billing, payment, and more. Works closely with Vice President of Sales & Marketing , Estimator , Draftsman, Vice President of Engineering, Vice President of Operations, Manufacturing Plant Supervisors, CEO and Accounting Manager to give individualized attention to specific projects.
Job Requirements
Education & Training:
- Relevant Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred but not required
- Certified Construction Manager credential preferred but not required
Experience:
- 5 years prior project management experience preferred, preferably in construction or custom structural wood products manufacturing
- Pay Range: $35.-$45./hr. Based on training and experience. Great benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain quoted manufacturing & delivery schedule, with input from all involved departments to ensure on-time job completion and delivery
- Main point of contact for customer once job is sold
- Send welcome letter/email including:
- Design and production requirements
- Billing and payment information
- Schedule
- Description of team working on project
- Obtain credit information, if credit is requested
- Review and execute contracts in coordination with VP of Sales & CEO, as needed
- Organize product installation, when necessary
- Manage customer expectations
- Travel to Production Plant often
- Send welcome letter/email including:
- Arrange tours of Unalam manufacturing plant for customers
- Maintain and update job databases

- Anticipate problems and issues before they arise and solve them in a timely manner to ensure on time job completion
- Communicate effectively with sales, estimating, drafting, engineering, production, and billing departments to maintain production, delivery and payment schedule. Be a liaison between Unalam Office and Production Plant to ensure on-time delivery of a quality product
- Work with accounting team to bill for jobs, complete all steps necessary to get paid by customer
- Other duties as need arises
