Job Requirements

Education & Training

Trade school, college, management or military experience in maintenence

Experience

5+ years experience in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance/operation necessary

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Ability to service older machinery with multiple relays, timing, and sensing circuits
Knowledge of electrical control circuits and print reading for troubleshooting
Ability to follow verbal and written directions
Ability to be cross-trained to take on new responsibilities
Knowledge of safe and proper use of equipment
Must be flexible to work in other departments as needed
Must be a self starter and take initiative
Must be able to work as part of a team
Good attendance is required
*Clean NYS driver's license is required

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Regularly lift and/or move up to 30lbs, occasionally up to 50lbs
Standing on feet and walking 8 hours per day on concrete
Using man lifts up to 40 feet
Pulling/Pushing
Bending and kneeling
Climbing ladders
Climbing stairs
Reaching over shoulders
Specific vision abilities require close vision and distance vision
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
