Unalam Endures
In these trying times it can be a comfort to look to history. Since our founding in 1892 we have endured and adapted through a litany of crises.
We have survived and thrived through two world wars, the Spanish Influenza, Prohibition, The Great Depression, the Cold War, the influenzas of 1957 and 1968, oil embargoes, economic recessions, and everything else the world has thrown at us. All the while meeting and adapting to our customers’ needs.
We took an excess of silo staves and turned that into the iconic Unadilla Silo Company. In the 1940’s we took the innovations in waterproof glues and turned that in to Unadilla Laminated Products, and today, as Unalam, we are as strong as ever.
We’ll get through this as a company and a nation with hard work, kindness, compassion, and by supporting our local businesses and communities.
We want to thank you for your support through all of these challenges and transitions. Unalam is still here and thriving because of you.
“Wash your hands, don’t touch your face, and social distance” – Craig Van Cott, President of Unalam
