Turned Glulam Columns

These turned glulam columns are another unique way to use our product. These first had to be glued as square columns and because the finished column diameter is around 14″ the columns were glued in a combination lay-up. After gluing, the square columns were sent by our customer to be turned on a very large lathe. They were then shipped back to us, so that we can plug the gaps left from the combination lay-up. We also glued these columns out of pressure treated lumber, because they will be installed outdoors.
