TBT: Old Greenwich

We have done so many projects over the years it is hard to count and keep track. Today, we were excited to receive an email with photos of a residence we built in 1978. This house is unique on several levels.

Not only does it have it’s own dock and gorgeous glulam beams, it is on it’s own peninsula! The original 3 story atrium in the center of the house was topped with a curved solarium, giving it’s occupants a 360 degree view of the harbor. Andrew Peklo, of Peklo Deisgn & Joinery, was not only the architect on the project he also hand crafted major elements of the house; such as the front door, kitchen cabinets, vanities, and trim.

While the appearance has evolved over the years Unalam is still a part of it’s structural composition.
