Sterling Trusses for a Sterling Park

The Finishing Department is currently pre-fitting the first truss for the new interpretive center for Sterling Nature Center in Sterling, NY.

Since these are too large to ship fully assembled the team will do a test fit of the first truss to ensure the accuracy of the fabrication on the glulam and steel before fabricating the rest of the project. 

The new center will sit between the glacially formed bluffs along the Lake Ontario shoreline, wetlands, woodlands, and vernal ponds. We are excited to be apart of another project that helps connect the public with the natural world.
