Shop Fitting A Glulam Truss

When we’re making glulam, it’s often not enough to simply finish the members. Some jobs are highly fabricated, involving many connections. In those cases, we work to shop fit the glulam with the steel connections. Sometimes an entire truss gets assembled in the plant and shipped that way to the job site. When an assembly is too wide to ship together, we may still shop fit it to try to make life easier for the installer.
