New Glulam Building is Springing Up!
One of the surest signs that spring has arrived is new construction. These photos show a glulam Tudor arch building with hip roof dormers in the midst of installation. When finished, the building will have three cupolas with curved hip rafters. The entry has a gambrel roof and that must transition to the main Tudor arch building. To avoid having an arch leg in the middle of the entry, our engineer came up with the plan to skew the Tudor arches that the entry’s curved ceiling beam spans.
