Need a circular beam? Una-Lam can do it!

Because we are able to create custom glulam material, once in a while we are asked to make a completely circular beam. For a recent project (pictured to the left in our plant), we fabricated a circular beam with a 14 foot outside diameter out of 10 1/2 inch high and 5 1/2 inch deep glulam. This beam was used as a header beam in the construction of an observation tower on Shelter Island, NY. It was manufactured using FSC certified material to help the project qualify for LEED certification.
