Manufacturing Large Glulam Arches
You may have seen us running some large arches through the plant. These photos give you a closer look.
Here’s one half arch on our glue forms:
After gluing, the material needs to be planed. These arches push our planer (which is, we believe, the largest in North America) close to its limit.
Our finishing team then makes the end cuts, drills holes, etc. to get the arches ready to go to the jobsite.
