Installing glulam deck panels for Groton Street bridge

Recently, Una-Lam began installing deck panels for the Groton Street covered bridge.

The panels were first loaded onto a truck in Una-Lam’s manufacturing facility and were driven outside to where the bridge is being assembled. There, a crane picked up the deck panel off of the truck.Then, the deck panels were hoisted over to the bridge.Next, the panels were guided into place.
The deck panels were finally set down and fastened to the bridge.
