Glulam Church Built In 1966
This week’s blog focuses on a project we delivered to our hometown of Sidney, NY way back in 1966. St. Luke’s Lutheran Church was designed with a unique shape to remind visitors of a flame. Whether it looks like one is subject to your interpretation, but there’s no denying that this building continues to have a strikingly beautiful presence in our community.
This second photo shows the cantilevered beam that supports the choir, an impressive feat of engineering.
We can see the flame shape from the outside (even though all of this winter’s feet of snow.)
