Glulam and Steel Trusses
We recently finished several long span trusses with steel webs and glulam chords. The truss halves were shop assembled and shipped to site, so only the midspan connections needed to be completed before installation.
The glulam center vertical includes channels to cover high strength bolts used in the steel-to-steel bottom chord field splice.
