Glulam Accents Chapel
We manufactured four glulam arches for this chapel at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. Over the next few weeks, we’ll share photos of several buildings that we happened to manufacture glulam for in the Rochester area. They’re all very different, but glulam timber stands out as the building material in each case. Enjoy!
In this chapel, only part of the glulam arches are left exposed in the finished building, creating a lighter feel. They are structural arches, supported by steel framing that is concealed in the walls.
