Crafting Peace at Bethel Woods: Unalam’s Role in the Consider Peace Pavilion
Back in June, Unalam supplied the structural components for the new Consider Peace Pavilion at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. This project brought together craftsmanship and purpose, reflecting Unalam’s long-standing connection to this historic location.

The pavilion was manufactured using CCA.4 and CCA.6 Treated Southern Yellow Pine, finished in the Honeymeade stain that gives the structure a warm, welcoming tone. Unalam also manufactured and supplied all of the galvanized steel connections to ensure durability and quality throughout the build.
Bethel Woods was voted the number one Amphitheater in the United States by USA Today in 2025, and projects like this continue to enhance the site’s legacy. For the past twenty years, Unalam has helped shape the character of many of the campus’s most significant spaces.

Eric Frances, CEO of Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, shared the following:
“Since the founding of Bethel Woods 20 years ago, Unalam’s design and fabrication have defined the character of our most meaningful spaces. Their laminated wood structures rise across the campus, inspiring our guests, artists, and students. Most recently, Unalam played a central role in bringing the Peace House to life—a cornerstone of our Consider Peace Initiative that reinforces the historic Woodstock site as a home for peace and unity. It will host activations at concerts and festivals, offering visitors a place to learn about our programs, spark conversations, and reflect on what peace means today, nearly 57 years after Woodstock. As we look toward the future of Bethel Woods, we celebrate Unalam’s enduring contribution to this historic place where future generations will continue to gather, imagine, and create.”
