A Project in it’s Natural Habitat

A couple of years ago we did a post on a truss prefit with steel connections and hardware. Well, those trusses are all grown up and in their new home. Wildflower Farms in Gardiner, NY is officially open for business under those trusses. 

The property consists of cabins scattered around the main structure. Our material is prominent throughout the restaurant, lounge, shop and event spaces. 

One mission of the farm is to help people connect more with the natural world. So, naturally, glulam was a great choice to help reinforce that ethos. Not only is glulam a sustainable building material, but the project is just 100 miles away from our manufacturing facility therefore cutting down on the transportation footprint.
